Items published on SugarExchange must meet the following conditions. Items not meeting these requirements will be rejected when submitted for publishing or removed from SugarExchange at some later time at SugarCRM’s discretion. In the case of a listing removal, SugarCRM will make every effort to notify the project administrator(s) in advance of taking this action.
The SugarForge project must be categorized. The SugarExchange Project Administration Guide document describes the categorization process. At a minimum you must define the following categories:
Sugar edition
Sugar release
Development Status must be "Production/Stable" or "Mature"
The project's main page screenshot must be established
Descriptive project information must be accurate. References to SugarCRM trademarks, if present, must be correctly specified.
You must identify at least one release file for download to be published in SugarExchange by setting its "Publish in SugarExchange?" flag OR you must identify at least one product to sell via the Buy Now admin function and this product’s Availability setting must be "Available for sale". The SugarExchange Project Administration Guide describes these steps.
You are strongly encouraged to provide as much descriptive information as possible and to provide your prospective buyers with a means to evaluate your offering. Release notes, screenshots, and other such information is extremely valuable for potential buyers. Additionally, although it is not required, you should specify your applicable license.
