Good looking product, but not upgrade safe, so you can't install it if you are on the hosted version of Sugar. Really should update site to make this clear.

Perfect tool for workflow automation

New to Sugar and found this module. The documentation is well written and the install was flawless. Processes are easy to setup and deploy. We are using the feature to send an email when a new account is created. Works great. Would recommend this module to CE customers.

Couldn't get it to work

Followed all of the instructions in the documentation numerous times and could not get it any automated process (e.g. emails, calls or tasks) to work properly.

Nice Add On

We needed to simply send an email when a new lead was created and schedule a call. Could not figure out how to do this in Sugar and came across this module. Everything seems to work so far. Setting up the process was rather simple. Did not realize that the documentation is included in the download file. Took some time to figure out how to setup this module - but once setup it is working great.

Bugs bugs bugs bugs beta level code

I find it interesting how quick negative reviews are followed up with extremely positive ones. There is a thread in the sugarforge forum that you may want to review before you buy this. You better are good at programming to make this module work, or willing to pay the developer to fix his code so that it works in your installation. Once it works this module is fantastic. But don't expect to get it cheap. It costs thousands to make it work.

Works Great

Fantastic enhancement for SugarCRM. The install was flawless and with the demos at the company website, we were up and running in no time automatically sending emails to new leads. We loaded 100's of new leads and Process Manager had no problem handling sending the emails out. We've contacted the support staff at SierraCRM and they were very helpful with a question we have on Start Time Delay type in Process Task. Hope to see support for Custom Modules in future releases. We highly recommend this module.

Outstanding Add on for Sugar

We had a need to automatically send emails to new leads and found this module on SugarForge. Installed the module - this went very smoothly, and followed the examples at the companies website. We are up and running and love this workflow module. Support for custom fields was important to us and are greatful that the company included in Process Manager.

Not Ready for 5.5

I have spent days trying to make the Enterprise Version work on a 5.5.0 version of Sugar. The only way it would work is in an empty database. As soon as I installed my custom fields functionality through the scheduler breaks. As soon as I imported my data - scheduler functionality breaks. No scheduler - no automatic workflow = useless. Bill Convis tried to help but as soon as it got beyond platitudes he blamed my install. It is a great idea, but what good does it do if it only works in an empty database? Bills attitude: if it works in an empty database, it works and you are now on your own since you got Sugar for free and paid him $300 bucks of a non working piece of code.

Loved It:Very Good Job

Loved how PM works. Would like to pass on some suggestions. There should be more flexibility for users who do not know php scripting. For instance, I wanted to create new leads, or convert accounts based on my Call status codes. I could not set up a workflow for that. This is because Workflow tasks are restricted to just email, call and Project tasks.

I hope my suggestions will be taken as a chance to improve the gtood product.

Extremely well documented CE module. Once understood, workflows are easy to setup with very good functionality, we would however ask if there is any plans to work on trigger dates (so many days before or after event) www.sugaruk.co.uk www.e-nableit.com

Installation rife with errors.

Looking forward to a release for Sugar 5.0!

Did some tests with the process manager on our 4.5-test server and the only reason we will not use it (yet), is because we are waiting for version 5.0. The Process Manager is a very powerful tool that will save you a lot of time and eventually will generate a better lead-conversion. Customers want attention and this module can help you with that.

This product meets the needs of our small company. The install is a bit low level but takes only minutes.

We ran into some feature bugs, but the support was great and had fixes to the bugs in hand w/in a day. Excellent support.

Initially the Process Manager was good, but after they have uploaded the 4.5.1e base files, it is working excellent.

I hope with the coming time Process Manager will have more features.

NOTE: I think this is the best add-on that i have came across for SugarCRM

Great workflow module

I downloaded this module and followed the installation instructions per the documentation. I had a vanilla install of Sugar so just copied over the sugar files. Once I installed this thing I was able to create a process to send an email to a new lead and create a call. Worked exactly as it is documented. Hope to see the developer continue to add new features.
